Glioblastoma Multiforme

the most common primary brain tumour in adults

New drugs against GBM - an area of great need

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common form of malignant brain tumours in adults. GBM is a phenotypically complex and challenging disease to treat.

A large number of reports detailing drug discovery campaigns for GBM can be found in the literature but up until now, no easily accessible overview of what has been attempted previously has been available. We have created the GBM Drug Bank in an effort to bring together the results of these previous studies, in a form that is easy to access and query.

More information on GBM and other brain tumours is available at The Brain Tumour Charity.
